others的用法
1、others相當于other+復數名詞,如：
注意：所指的其他人并非其他所有的人,指其他部分的全部,請看“2、”

2、the others 其余的，相當于the other的復數形式,特指某一范圍內的其他全部,如：
Two boys will go to the zoo,and the others will stay at home.
兩個男孩將去動物園,其余的留在家里.
Thirty of them are boy students and the others are girls.
他們當中三十人是男生,其他人是女生.
other如果是指代詞“另一個”時,必須要加“the”
而“one...the other...”用于單數,指“一個...另一個...”
如：I have two pensils.One is red,the other is blue.
others
和some對比使用時,是“有些”的意思而不是做“其他”講,如:Some cleaned the windows,others mopped the floor.有的擦窗戶,有的擦地板.
the others
是“其余的”意思,表示在一個范圍內的其他全部,如:This dictionary is better than the others.這本字典比別[其余]的好.
the other
是其中的“另一個”,如:Give me the other one; not this one.給我那一個,不是這一個.
兩個中的“另一個”是“the other”; 不定數目(三者或三者以上)中的“另一個”是“another” ,如:This glass is broken.Get me another.這個杯子壞了,給我另拿一個來.(在許多杯子中的一個)
other與others的用法區別
1. other 的用法
可用作形容詞、限定詞或代詞：用于形容詞和限定詞時，其后要接名詞，用作代詞時，只表示單數意義，不表示復數意義。
(1) 用作形容詞、限定詞的例句
I can't find my other shoe. 我找不到另一只鞋了。
The other hotels are all full. 其他的旅館都已住滿了。
You'd better change into some other clothes. 你最好換別的衣服。
So he is a fraud, a common thief in other words. 所以他是個騙子，也就是說，是個慣偷。
(2) 用作代詞的例句
One boat lowed the other. 一只船拖著另一只船。
This one coincides with the other. 這個同另一個完全一樣。
One chemical interacts with the other. 一種化學成分與另一種化學成分發生反應。
I can’t tell the one from the other. 我不能把他們區分開來。
He was at one end of the hall and I was at the other. 他在大廳的一頭, 我在另一頭。
2. others 的用法
other只用作代詞，不可用作形容詞、限定詞(即其后不能接名詞)，從意義上看，它只表示復數意義，不表示單數意義。如：
